Anavalos
Between the spring and the sea

- Rocky beach below the property
- Infinity pool above the sea
- Near Nafplio, Mycenae and Epidaurus

The water
Swim above the gulf
The pool hangs at the edge of the property, facing the open water and the mountains of the Argolid.

The shore
Salt, stone and stillness
Steps lead from the house to the rocky shore: clear water, canopied daybeds and shade under the pines.

The days
Out on the water, up the coast
Paddleboards below the house, electric bikes to hidden coves and breakfasts from the outdoor kitchen.

Good to know
Where is Anavalos and how do I get there?

It is a 15-minute drive from historic Nafplio, 30 minutes from Mycenae and about an hour from Epidaurus. The nearest airports are Kalamata (120 km) and Athens (170 km). We can arrange a shuttle transfer on request.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 15:00 to 22:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Tell us your arrival time and we will be ready for you.
Is there a pool and beach?
Yes. Our infinity pool overlooks the Argolic Gulf, surrounded by a herbal garden of rosemary, thyme, mint and lavender. Pool towels are provided. Below Anavalos you will find our rocky beach with crystal-clear water. Keep your eyes open for sea turtles and dolphins.
What is breakfast like?
Local seasonal fruit, eggs, pastries, jams, honey and other products from nearby producers. Breakfast is available for an additional charge and is not complimentary. Let us know about dietary preferences in advance.
Is there parking?
Yes, free private parking at the property.
What is our sustainability approach?
Anavalos is a small family-run retreat built around sustainability and respect for local traditions. We provide refillable glass water bottles and filtered drinking water instead of disposable plastic. Our toiletries use natural cold-pressed fruit oils in refillable containers. We encourage guests to dry towels on the bamboo ladders on each balcony and to switch off air conditioning when leaving the room. These choices reflect our commitment to caring for the environment that makes this location special.
Anavalos participates in a programme co-financed by Greece and the European Union (ESPA). View the ESPA notice
